Privacy policy

The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. Whatever you type into them — headcounts, weights, region — is used only to compute the result on screen; none of it is sent to a server or stored anywhere.

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages get read. It’s cookieless and doesn’t track you across other sites — it reports aggregate figures like page views and rough location/device, not anything tied to you personally. There are no accounts or logins anywhere on this site.

The contact form is the one place that does collect personal information: if you submit it, your name, email address and message are sent to Web3Forms, a third-party service we use purely to deliver the message to us and let us reply. We don’t use it for anything else, add you to a mailing list, or share it further.

My Backyard’s optional “save to cloud” feature stores your game state (species, name, stats) against a short code you choose to share between devices — no account or personal information is needed to use it, and the save isn’t tied to your identity.

There are no ads or third-party trackers here today. If that changes, this policy will be updated first to say exactly what’s added and what data it involves, rather than changing silently.
